Go on a family quest!

Legend has it that in the 1960s, the hotel manager received a painting from someone who had been to the museum and loved his visit. The manager was a huge art lover and knew a masterpiece when he saw it. In his eyes, it was the most valuable piece of art he’d ever seen.

Decades later, the famous masterpiece disappeared. The hotel underwent many renovations, and he lost track of the painting.

Your mission: find the famous masterpiece!

Go on a treasure hunt!

Journey deep into the Carbosa Ruins in search of Captain Poe’s loot! This outstanding pirate, who has more than one trick up his sleeve, needs you to recover his treasure full of precious coins. But the chest is so well concealed that even the Captain no longer remembers its exact hiding place… and that’s not to mention the legendary creature that is said to be prowling the island.

It’s a treasure hunt that promises!

ÉRABLIÈRE DU CAP

You answer an emergency call: an axe that belonged to none other than Jos Montferrand (the legendary strongest lumberjack in Quebec) was stolen during the night! You are told that the axe would have magical properties and that it would have been used to build the vast majority of the constructions on the site.

Will you be able to complete your quest while avoiding the traps put in your way?

Do you have what it takes to be a great sorcerer? Come find out by taking a journey with your family into a Harry Potter-inspired world. This quest filled with challenges and magic games is located on the Saint-Lawrence River along Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu’s des Planètes trail in La Malbaie. You don’t have to be a hotel guest to do this activity—it’s open to all!

The Lizard Challenge

Every year, new students at Cité-des-Jeunes have to do the Lizard Challenge. A former student is said to have played a trick by stealing a lizard from a science classroom and hiding it somewhere in the school.

To show how much smarter and better he was than everyone else, he created a series of challenges to make it hard to find the secret hiding spot.

Unfortunately, he moved the following year without revealing his secret… actual challenge or a hoax? We’ll let you be the judge!
