From television to nature: Épique, the game!
The story behind the experience
In collaboration with Épique, a show on Télé-Québec, we designed a series of interactive games set in different regions of Quebec. The idea was to extend the fun of discovery beyond the screen by inviting the public to play in the very places where the show was filmed.
Each game, accessible via a terminal installed in the region concerned, immerses visitors in an original challenge inspired by the local identity. The aim is not to replay the episode, but to enrich the experience with complementary, educational, and immersive content, a clever mix of history, culture, and puzzles to be solved on site.
Their business goals:
- Extend the Épique TV show experience for audiences in the field by creating a direct link between television content and the regions visited.
- Increase audience and family engagement through interactive activities that encourage exploration, learning, and play.
- Boost regional tourism by encouraging visitors to discover Quebec’s regions through a fun and educational journey.
The result
This project has given rise to a series of seven interactive geolocation games, deployed across seven different regions: Charlevoix, North Shore, Gaspé Peninsula, Mauricie, Outaouais, Saguenay, and more.
Each terminal invites visitors to immerse themselves in a unique and entertaining world, while showcasing local heritage. Once the challenge is completed, participants receive two exclusive rewards: a link to the episode filmed in the region and a list of local activities to extend the adventure in the field.
This innovative initiative combines digital content, tourism, and culture to create an educational and captivating experience that can be enjoyed throughout Quebec!

Following in the footsteps of the TV show, a series of challenges await you across six iconic regions. At each checkpoint along the way, a challenge will immerse you in the unique world of the region you are visiting: logic, memory, observation, or intuition… will you be able to triumph?
