Erasing the Eraser

The story behind the experience

The Prévost Comic Book Festival is well known in its region, but this year, the team wanted to reach a broader audience and expand its visibility beyond the Laurentians.

To make it happen, the festival turned to our team to create an online game designed to be played from home, ahead of the event. The goal: to reach a new audience through a targeted communications campaign—and spark the curiosity of comic book fans to come discover the festival.

Immersed in the world of comics, our writers and designers came up with an original storyline: a mysterious figure is erasing all information about the festival… and it’s up to the players to recover it!

Their business goals:

  • Invite a new audience to discover the Prévost Comic Book Festival by playing from home
  • Raise awareness of the festival by sharing key information throughout the game
  • Spark interest in attending through a fun and immersive approach
  • Link the game to an on-site contest to encourage players to take action and join the event
