Les Cowboys Fringants tour Repentigny
The story behind the experience
After entertaining their citizens during the 2021 holiday season with our Christmas trail rental, the cultural team of the city of Repentigny contacted us again to offer a tailor-made experience to complement the exhibition on Les Cowboys Fringants, which took place throughout the summer of 2022 at the Centre d’art Diane-Dufresne.
Their business goals:
- Enhance the 2022 summer cultural program;
- Innovate by offering a mobile app-guided experience over a long period of time;
- Develop an original project with a polished design and aesthetic that blends in with the Cultural Space;
- Make the musical culture of Les Cowboys Fringants accessible and introduce it to a portion of the population;
- Reach fans of Les Cowboys Fringants throughout Repentigny and across Quebec.
The favorite game
The experiment took place in two stages:
First, in the heart of the Cultural Center, participants were invited to wander through a reconstruction of iconic locations in Repentigny, all depicted in the work of Les Cowboys Fringants. As they strolled through these immersive settings, they were able to test themselves in games that required concentration and deduction.
Secondly, for true fans of the band, it was an opportunity to test their knowledge of the band’s songs: the places and characters featured in them, as well as the lyrics. A total of five quiz questions awaited them!
