Wild Challenges
The story behind the experience
The team at the Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien contacted us in the spring of 2022 to offer new experiences to their customers. We created three different customized experiences for the attraction: a fun quest covering the entire site, an escape game inside a transitional space, and a virtual game to liven up the queue for the famous Train Boréal, the activity that made the zoo famous.
Their business goals:
- Offer a complementary activity for families;
- Help visitors discover all areas of the site in a fun and unique way;
- Highlight information about the zoo’s animals and its history;
- Enhance the experience for people waiting in line to board the Train Boréal;
- Add a game to a transitional space;
- Enhance their experiences without adding to the workforce.

The Wild Challenges
Are you ready to unleash your inner animal?
Did you know that animals are stimulated through various games? Whether it’s to find food, expend energy, or simply have fun. These are called enrichment activities.
We drew inspiration from these games, which are actually played by the animals at the Zoo Sauvage de Saint-Félicien, to create the Wild Challenges quest. Through several game stations set up in different sections of the site, participants have the opportunity to compare their abilities to those of the animals they encounter.
For example, visitors can compare their strength to that of an Amur tiger and their agility to that of a polar bear. Each area features a game and quiz questions to help visitors discover a world they never knew existed. The experience is guided by our mobile app and requires no staff assistance.

Wait and win!
The train ride through the Nature Trails Park is the activity that has made the Zoo sauve de Saint-Félicien famous. Such an extraordinary activity inevitably comes with a wait.
The Zoo team was looking for an original way to occupy this waiting time, so we suggested they customize our Waiterz concept. This concept helps to liven up the queues. Panda Express is a stimulating virtual game that allows Zoo visitors to pass the time while having fun.
